The Surgical Clinic, TSC, launched the Prosthetic Clinic in 2006.  TSC began tracking patient outcomes and success rates to develop new approaches to increase amputation surgery success rates.  This research resulted in the following unique methods not available anywhere else in the country:

  • specialized surgery techniques
  • custom amputee fitness program developed prior to surgery and after surgery
  • immediate post-operative fitting techniques

This has made TSC a national destination for patients for patients to get customized amputation surgeries.  TSC now has a success rate of 95% with transtibial amputee fittings.  This success has led patients from the local community and around the country to seek out care at TSC.  TSC often sees amputees for second opinions regarding their prosthetic care.  We specialize in providing care to those that may have been deemed "hard to fit".  If you are struggling with a prosthesis that is uncomfortable we offer free evaluations and consultations regarding your case.  TSC understands that success for the amputee depends on complete medical care that can only be provided by a "TEAM" of medical providers working together in the same location.
