This techniquecan be an alternative to a below the knee amputation.  This technique is a very challenging surgical technique.  This techniques offers the following benefits.

  • ability to walk witout a prosthesis directlty on the end of your leg just like a normal foot
  • very low profile prosthesis and simple to put on and off
